curve fitting - Find the probability density of a new data point using “density” function using matlab? -


i have 2 datasets namely reference dataset , new dataset; datasets have power , speed power curve (power vs speed) of wind turbine. power in vertical axis , speed in horizontal axis. want use new incoming data points of speed find probability of associated power value using pdf function based on calculation on reference data (calculated binning, mean value & std value old data).

in short, code have written far , after clueless or not getting next :

after should given new data point (speed_new), find probability density of data point based on kernel density estimator (or pdf) , associated power value.
