package - Push changes to bitbucket using atom -

i using text editor atom , should possible upload directly bitbucket atom. found thread here on stackoverflow asked , recommended git-plus package. did download package tells me need edit user.email , user.name variable in gitconfig file. doesnt anywhere can find gitconfig file. found few config files none of them have these variables. gitconfig file in .git folder in project or somewhere in atom? hope here can me this
